I am in Denver this week, check out my flickr page for some pics. I am attending the 14th Annual IUG conference for Innovative Interfaces, this is the company that provides the software that runs the library where I work. While here I have heard a lot of talk about bringing the library into the Web 2.0 setting and have found most of it very interesting.

There are a ton of great sources and good people behind this push in the IUG, it has renewed my interest in the web and development. So in that vein I am going to try again at keeping this blog rolling with a post at a bare minimum once per week. In fact I am going to schedule it into my calendar. I may even try to get a domain for it so that will be some more incentive for me to update regularly.

Home Office Remodel Phase II: Pt 2 Electrical

Well, the electrical portion is all done. Lessons learned. Let's see, Always use junction boxes when tieing lines together. Be sure to buy extra wire nuts, you are bound to lose a box until you a finished when it magically reappears, same goes for electrical tape, two rolls minimum even if you only need 6 inches. Well here is the part that you have all been waiting for I know. Be sure to click the images for a better picture. Here is what is left of that tangled mess between the floor joists. Here is the outlet for under the desk. So stay tuned, more DIY is coming soon. The next section is Phase III: Phone

Hmmm

Well, it's nice to see this is still here.  But then again why wouldn't it be.  After all doesn't google keep everything? I am not really sure what to put here anymore, that is something that I will have to think about.  I have definitely fallen out of practice with posting here.  I am also not really using Facebook or Google+ at this point, so maybe I can convince myself that this will be the place to put things.  I will have to take a look around some more and see If anything has changed, ie Are there static pages?  This might be a good place to build out a bit of a portfolio, I also like the idea of putting little snippets of useful information here so that I can find them again easier later.  So we'll see what happens.
